Andrew Warner of Mixergy will be interviewing me at 11 AM Pacific tomorrow, which is something like 14 hours from the timestamp on this post. If it is 11 ~ 12 AM Pacific, you can catch the live interview and participate in a chatroom. I’m told the main theme for the interview will be a business biography, so my regular readers are likely going to hear a lot of things you already know (“It makes bingo cards! Wow, fancy that.”), but Andrew has a way of wheedling secrets out of people so I’m sure you’ll still enjoy it.
If you have any subject you’d particularly like to hear about, please post it in the comments and I’ll tell Andrew to ask about it.
Hi,
After listening to your last interview, the two questions I have are:
+ How should an A/B tester know when no more improvements could be made to the product (everything is optimal)?
+ Do you try to estimate weither each test is profitable to conduct? Testing takes up resources (time/services), so maybe there’s a way to decide which are worth running and which not.
Thanks
Wess
I’d like to hear more about the long tail marketing you developed. Specificly how you went about brain storming and experimenting on getting the long tail traffic to your site.
Is there a new product idea coming down the pike and if so what market research are you doing prior to going down that path?
Do you know if this will eventually get posted? I wasn’t able to catch it live.
Rich, we had some technical difficulties during the taping and rescheduled it to next Friday at 9:30 AM PST.
