This was a good one. I especially liked the part about pricing. One thing I’d be interested to know, Patrick, is whether you think tiered pricing is worth bothering with when someone is just starting out, or if it should be a “pave the cowpaths” kind of thing where you pick a single price and then, based on people’s reactions to it, determine your pricing tiers. It seems entirely likely that the tiers a founder originally conceives of might have little relationship to the actual value customers perceive each tier to deliver.

I have to admit I tried listening to this for a good 10 minutes and Patrick is completely unintelligible. The audio quality on his voice run through a very low bitrate compression algorithm just makes it impossible to understand him. I could make out the guest speaker though.
